What it does
The server connects an agent to the Xiaohongshu platform, known as RedNote. Through it the agent searches notes by keyword and opens a note's content by URL. Authorization goes through a browser login: on first run the init command opens a login window, and cookies are stored locally and reused. The server speaks stdio and installs globally via npm or runs through npx; the browser part needs Playwright.

How to disable. Remove the rednote server from the MCP config and, if needed, the cookie file ~/.mcp/rednote/cookies.json.
