What it does
A Python server gives the agent access to liked tracks with filters by genre, period, lyrics presence and explicit tag, shows unique genres in the library ordered by track count, analyzes a track list by genre and can filter out instrumental tracks. It manages playlists (list, tracks, create, add and remove tracks) and searches tracks, artists and similar tracks. Liked tracks are cached in memory for 5 minutes, so repeat calls skip the Yandex API. The server can run as an HTTP service with an optional auth secret or as stdio for MCP clients. It uses Yandex Music's private API; there is no official public API, and the token must be obtained via third-party yandex-music-api instructions. The package is not published to PyPI, install with pip install -e from a clone. Yandex's endpoints can change without notice.
How to disable. Stop the server process and remove it from your MCP client settings.
