What it does
Founder Skills is a set of Claude Code skills for founders, marketers and business owners. Each skill handles one task and is called with a command such as `/sop-creator` followed by a description of the task. For product and strategy there is `pricing-strategist`, which builds tiers and price justifications through questions, and `go-to-market-plan` with three market-entry strategies. `strategic-planning` suggests three next growth moves, `competitor-intel` analyzes competitors, and `prd-generator` writes product requirements and saves them as a PDF. For marketing there is `cro-optimization` with a landing page review against 13 principles, `brand-copywriter` with the AIDA, PAS and BAB formulas, and `marketing-ideas`, which picks five ideas from a base of more than 160 tactics. `x-writer` and `linkedin-writer` write posts for X and LinkedIn, while `viral-hook-creator` and `lead-magnet-generator` produce hooks and lead-magnet posts. `outreach-specialist` builds sequences of cold emails and messages. To keep answers from being generic, you create a `FOUNDER_CONTEXT.md` file in the project root describing the company, audience, brand voice and goals. The skills read it and fit their answers to your business.

- You need copy for VK, Telegram or Dzen: the post templates are built for X and LinkedIn
- You need a contract, terms of service or another legal document: the set has no such skills
- A post or email must go out at once without proofreading: the agent writes from templates, and the text needs a check
- You need market research with verified figures: the agent gathers data on its own, and you will have to check it

The skills are in English, the post templates target X and LinkedIn, and the launch plan targets Product Hunt. LinkedIn is blocked in Russia.
You have to create the `FOUNDER_CONTEXT.md` file yourself from the sample in the repository. Without it the skills ask more questions and answer in general terms, and `pricing-strategist` will not start until it has read the file.
The skills give the agent instructions and templates. The agent gathers data on the market, competitor prices and channels on its own, so check figures and conclusions against primary sources before you act on them.
How to disable. Delete the skill folders from the project's `.claude/skills/`, or from `~/.claude/skills/` if you installed globally. After that the context file in the project root can be deleted too.
FAQ
How do I install Founder Skills in Claude Code?
The `npx skills add https://github.com/ognjengt/founder-skills` command installs the whole set, and the `--skill` flag adds a single skill, for example `--skill prd-generator`. By hand, copy the folders from `skills/` into the project's `.claude/skills/` or into `~/.claude/skills/` for all projects.
How many skills are in the set?
The repository description speaks of twenty-plus skills, while its table lists 15. The `skills/` folder shows the exact set after installation.
What does prd-generator do?
The skill asks clarifying questions and writes a product requirements document suited to AI coding tools. It saves the finished PDF to the `./prd_outputs/` folder.
How is x-writer different from linkedin-writer?
`x-writer` gives three posts for X in different formats, keeps each post within 280 characters and turns long text into a thread. `linkedin-writer` writes two LinkedIn posts on seven structures, among them Lessons Learned, Story and Case Study.
How does pricing-strategist build prices?
The skill skips questions already answered in the context file and asks the rest in a dialogue: B2B or B2C, the current pricing model, competitors. You get a tier structure, prices and their justification.
