What it does
The repository splits product management work into topical plugins: discovery, strategy, execution, market research, data analytics, go-to-market, marketing and growth, utilities and shipping AI-built code. Skills encode known frameworks such as assumption mapping, opportunity solution trees, SWOT, Porter, North Star and cohort analysis, and load automatically when the conversation matches. Slash commands such as /discover, /strategy and /write-prd chain several skills into an end-to-end flow and suggest the next step afterwards. The pm-ai-shipping plugin helps document and audit an agent-built app by comparing intended behavior with the code.
Who it is for. For product managers, founders and product leads working in Claude Code, Cowork or Codex.
Good fit when
- You need to test an idea: hypotheses, assumptions and experiments
- You need a PRD, OKRs or launch plan with a clear structure
- You want to check whether an AI-built app does what its docs claim
Not a fit when
- You need task tracker integration and live data rather than frameworks
- You need a legally vetted NDA or privacy policy without a lawyer's review
Example request
/discover idea: a cat food subscription with scheduled deliveryLimitations
Commands work only in Claude Code and Cowork; Codex gets skills only. Skills follow English-language frameworks and examples. NDA and privacy policy drafts need a lawyer's review.
How to disable. Uninstall plugins via /plugin or claude plugin uninstall <plugin>@pm-skills.
Security check
- Plugins consist of instructions and templates
README in short
The README explains skills, commands and plugins and offers quick entry points: /discover, /strategy, /write-prd, /plan-launch and /north-star. Installation is covered for Cowork through the UI, for Claude Code and Codex with marketplace commands and for other agents by copying folders. For Codex it notes commands do not run and suggests describing steps in plain language. MIT licensed.
FAQ
How do skills differ from commands?
Skills load automatically by topic; commands are triggered manually and walk through a chain of skills.
Does it work in Cursor or Gemini CLI?
Yes, skill folders can be copied to .cursor/skills or .gemini/skills, but commands do not run there.
