Each skill installs as a separate plugin from the pm-skills marketplace.

This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.

What it does

The library turns well-known product methods into skills that explain each framework's reasoning and failure modes to both the agent and the PM. It covers problem framing, positioning, stakeholder mapping, Mom Test interview prep, opportunity solution trees, choosing between RICE, ICE and Kano, epic splitting, user stories with Gherkin criteria and PRDs. Further sections handle SaaS metrics, competitive intelligence, TAM, SAM and SOM sizing, product end-of-life and career moves to Director and CPO. Skills come as references, interactive advisors that ask questions, and multi-step workflows.

Who it is for. For product managers, product leaders and founders who want the agent to follow proven methods.

Good fit when

  • You need a PRD or user stories engineers will trust
  • You need to pick a prioritization method and sort the backlog
  • You need competitive research or market sizing

Not a fit when

  • You need task tracker integrations; the skills work with text, not Jira
  • You plan commercial reuse of the material, which the license forbids

Example request

Help me pick a prioritization method for our backlog: B2B SaaS, a team of six, little usage data

Limitations

Content is licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, so commercial use is not allowed. Examples and metrics lean toward US SaaS. The local Streamlit playground needs an Anthropic or OpenAI key or a local Ollama.

How to disable. Uninstall the skills via /plugin in Claude Code, from Skills in Claude Desktop, or remove .agents/skills in Codex.

Security check

  • The skills consist of methods, templates and questions

README in short

The README groups skills by job: strategy, stakeholders, discovery, prioritization, deliverables, experiments, finance, market intelligence, aging products, career and AI product work. Install via ZIPs for Claude Desktop, the plugin marketplace for Claude Code, or a ZIP with AGENTS.md for Codex. Themed packs and a local Streamlit playground are available. CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licensed.

## Purpose

Guide product managers through evaluating whether to scale, test, or kill an acquisition channel based on unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback), customer quality (retention, NRR), and scalability (magic number, volume potential). Use this to make data-driven go-to-market decisions and optimize channel mix for sustainable growth.

This is not a channel strategy framework—it's a financial lens for channel evaluation that helps you avoid scaling unprofitable channels or killing channels with fixable problems. Use when deciding how to allocate marketing budget across channels.

## Input

**Works best with:** The acquisition channel you're evaluating (e.g., paid search, outbound SDR, partner referrals).
**Also useful:** Any metrics you already have — CAC, LTV, payback period, retention/NRR by channel — plus company stage and the decision on the table (scale, test, or kill).
