What it does
Founder Playbook turns 15 business books into skills: The Mom Test, The Lean Startup, Obviously Awesome, Crossing the Chasm, Traction and others. Each skill retells the frameworks, decision trees and templates of one book, and the `diagnose` meta-skill routes to the right one when it is unclear where to start. It works in Claude Code, where skills turn on by the question, and as reference documents in ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor. It installs with `npx skills add getagentseal/founder-playbook`. MIT license.
Who it is for. For founders and product managers who need a review of an idea, positioning or first sales by well-known methods.
Good fit when
- You need to validate an idea with customer interviews without leading questions
- You need to choose positioning and a product category
- It is unclear which problem to start with: you need a route through methods
Not a fit when
- You need the text of the books themselves: these are retellings of schemes and not the books
- You need advice for the Russian market: the methods come from English-language books
Example request
Help plan five customer interviews to validate an idea with the Mom Test method and write questions with no leading wordingLimitations
The skills are built on retellings of other people's books, and the rights to the originals stay with the authors: they are short schemes and not a replacement for reading. The books were written for the English-language market, so check the advice on your own customers. Access is minimal: the set consists of text instructions.
How to disable. Delete the skill folders from the agent's folder.
