What it does
get-job.skill covers three stages of a job search in a row, and each result feeds the next. First the skill researches the role through web search: it picks sources for the target market, pulls out core skills and hidden requirements, and saves the result in `岗位调研.md`. Then it rewrites your resume backward from the target role, translating your real experience into the language of the posting and building a clean `改后简历.docx`. The third stage is interview preparation. The skill finds which selection stages actually exist, drills into every resume bullet down to follow-up questions, prepares a self-introduction, delivery practice and a post-interview review question bank. Everything lands in the `面试准备/` folder. Before starting, the skill checks its inputs: whether it has the target role, market, posting text, resume and application stage. It fills gaps itself or marks them as assumptions. Before delivery it runs checks: posting against resume, coverage of resume bullets by questions, and the source behind each strong claim. It does not invent experience you never had and does not touch facts a background check would verify: education, dates and job titles.
Who it is for. For job and internship seekers, especially career switchers: graduates and students moving into product, operations, marketing, analytics or technical roles.
Good fit when
- You are applying to a specific posting and want to reshape your resume for it without inventing experience
- Your profile does not match the role, for example a humanities degree aimed at a product or operations position
- You got an interview invitation and the resume is already sent: ask for preparation from the current resume and the skill skips the rewrite
- You need the questions an interviewer will ask about each resume bullet, plus anchor answers
- You do not know the selection stages at a company: the skill looks them up in sources and marks its confidence
Not a fit when
- You need a ready resume template without role research: any generator is simpler for that
- You want to embellish your experience or add skills you lack: the skill demands real facts and flags weak claims
- You need offer comparison and salary negotiation: the skill's description has no such stage
- You need a quick typo pass on a resume: the skill runs the full three-stage process

The license is CC BY-NC-ND 4.0: you may share with attribution, while commercial use and distribution of modified versions are forbidden, and a commercial license requires contacting the author.
The skill's core instructions are mostly in Chinese, so the output file names stay Chinese: `岗位调研.md`, `改后简历.docx`, `面试准备/`. The English description and example are fully localized and aimed at the US market, while the other examples target China. There are no ready sources for Russian postings or platforms, so the skill finds them through web search.
The skill gathers information through the agent's web search, so the agent needs it. The OpenAI and Anthropic APIs are unavailable from Russia. The quality checks ask for evidence but cannot verify that your claims are true: you answer for them. A resume with contacts and workplaces goes to the model, so remove what is not needed before sending.
How to disable. Delete the get-job folder from the agent's skills directory, for example `~/.claude/skills/get-job`, and start a new session. Files the skill already created in your project stay: remove them by hand.

How do I install get-job.skill in Claude Code?
Run `npx skills add agentenatalie/get-job.skill`. For a manual install, clone the repository into the skills directory: `git clone https://github.com/agentenatalie/get-job.skill ~/.claude/skills/get-job`. After installing, send your resume, target role and the posting text in one message.
Does the skill invent experience on a resume?
No. In the repository example, every claim in the new resume maps to a source-fact ID, and adding degrees, dates, grades, metrics and deployment claims is forbidden. If the resume is incomplete, the skill returns a list of missing evidence. The author notes that the guardrails are not a guarantee: the skill cannot verify that your data is true.
What checks does the skill run before delivery?
It checks source coverage, posting-to-resume alignment, coverage of every resume bullet by questions, the evidence level behind each strong claim and the basis for each interview stage. Internal labels must not leak into the final files. A hard failure blocks delivery, and anything that can be safely downgraded is marked.
What if I have no job posting text?
The skill looks for the company's official careers page or a comparable posting itself. If it cannot find the interview stages, it produces only an overview and a bullet-by-bullet drill-down and marks the other stages as needing confirmation.
Can I use the skill in a paid service?
Not without separate permission. The CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license lets you share the material with attribution but forbids commercial use and distribution of modified versions. For a commercial license, contact the author.
