What it does
md.page publishes Markdown as a styled web page with a short link like `md.page/a8Xk2m`. An agent only needs to hear "share this": it sends the text to the API and returns the address. Anonymous pages are deleted after a day, and signing in gives permanent pages on your own subdomain. The repository holds the `publish-to-mdpage` skill for Claude Code, an MCP server (remote and local), the `mdpage-cli` CLI and the engine itself on Cloudflare Workers. You can self-host the engine: anonymous publishing, OpenAPI and preview images are included.
Who it is for. People who ask an agent to draft a report, plan or notes and want to send it to a colleague as a link rather than a file.
Good fit when
- An agent wrote an analysis and a colleague needs to see it without a repository.
- A CHANGELOG or README should open quickly in a browser with styling.
- Claude.ai cannot reach the service from its sandbox and needs a remote MCP as a connector.
- Team pages should live on your own Cloudflare.

- The text contains secrets or customer data: anyone with the link can read it.
- A page must live longer than a day without registration.
- Company policy forbids publishing on an external service.

Anonymous pages are deleted after 24 hours, and Markdown is capped at 500 KB. Permanent pages, subdomains and API keys work only in the hosted md.page service with Google sign-in: the open repository holds the engine for anonymous publishing. Links are unguessable, but anyone holding one can read the page. A self-hosted instance needs a Cloudflare account and a KV binding. The last commit in the repository dates from September 2026.
How to disable. Remove the `publish-to-mdpage` skill or the `mdpage` entry from the MCP configuration. Delete published pages through the API or dashboard; anonymous ones expire on their own.
FAQ
How do I connect the service to Claude.ai?
Add a custom connector with the address `https://md.page/mcp` in connector settings. The remote MCP needs no install.
How do I publish a file manually?
Run `npx mdpage-cli README.md`. The `--copy` flag puts the link on the clipboard and `--open` opens the page in the browser.
How long does a page live?
An anonymous one lives 24 hours. After Google sign-in you can keep up to ten permanent pages on your own subdomain.
Can I self-host it?
Yes, the engine runs on Cloudflare Workers with a single KV store. Anonymous publishing and the agent-facing interface are included.
Are pages public?
Links are random and hard to guess, but anyone holding one can read the page. After sign-in, visibility is set per page: public or private.
