What it does
GTM Skills is a Claude Code plugin with 54 go-to-market skills. The skills are grouped by topic: SEO and AI search, content, outbound, sales, growth, analytics, strategy, ads, social and CRM. The agent loads the right skill itself when it sees a matching task: an SEO audit of a landing page, a cold email sequence for enterprise CTOs, a Product Hunt launch, an onboarding email series, a pricing decision. The first step is to run the `bootstrap` skill. It interviews you about brand, audience, voice, channels and metrics and creates a structure in the project: `CLAUDE.md`, `PROGRESS.md`, `about/me.md`, `strategy/brand.md`, `content/` folders per platform with drafts and published material, and `assets/`. The other skills read these files before answering and adapt to your voice and positioning, and they update `PROGRESS.md` each session. The plugin works with Claude Cowork, and single skills install through `npx skills add`. Task boundaries are adapted from the marketingskills set by Corey Haines and mapped in a file under `docs/`.
Who it is for. Marketers, founders and small product teams who run content, email and launches in Claude Code and want one working folder with strategy and brand voice.
Good fit when
- You need an SEO and AI search visibility audit of a landing page
- A cold email for a given role and niche has to be written in your voice and positioning
- A Product Hunt launch is a month away and you need a launch and asset plan
- Content goes to LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, a blog and email, and you want all drafts in one place
- You must pick a SaaS price and justify it
Not a fit when
- You need skills for Russian platforms such as Yandex Direct or VK, which the set does not cover
- You want a real CRM integration through an API, while the skills provide methods and templates
- The project must not get extra `CLAUDE.md` and `PROGRESS.md` files
- You have a single narrow task that needs no shared project structure
Example request
Run bootstrap for our project and then audit the SEO of the home pageLimitations
- The skills are written in English and aimed at Western platforms and markets. They do not cover Russian advertising or services.
- The `bootstrap` skill creates files and folders in the project, including `CLAUDE.md`. Run it in a separate working folder so existing instructions stay untouched.
- These are methods and templates with no API integrations: the skills do not publish posts or send emails themselves.
- Task boundaries are partly adapted from the marketingskills set, so some wording will look familiar from it.
How to disable. `claude plugin uninstall gtm-skills@gtm-plugins` removes the plugin. Skills installed through `npx skills` come out with `npx skills remove`. Delete the project files that `bootstrap` created by hand.
FAQ
How do I install GTM Skills in Claude Code?
Run `claude plugin marketplace add manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin` and then `claude plugin install gtm-skills@gtm-plugins`. Skills load on their own when a task matches their description.
What does the bootstrap skill do?
It interviews you about brand, audience, voice and channels and creates `CLAUDE.md`, `PROGRESS.md`, `about/me.md`, `strategy/brand.md` and the `content/` and `assets/` folders. The other skills then read those files.
Can I install only one skill?
Yes: `npx skills add manojbajaj95/claude-gtm-plugin --skill seo-and-aeo-strategy`. The same command with `--list` shows what is available.
Does the set work in Claude Cowork?
Yes, install the plugin from the Claude plugin catalog at claude.com/plugins by searching for GTM Skills.
Which skill groups are in the set?
SEO and AI search, content, outbound, sales, growth, analytics, strategy, ads, social and CRM. The full list is in `ALL_SKILLS.md`.
